As soon as a new version of the game is available, you won't have to worry about downloading it manually. Simply open the Itch.io launcher, and your game will update automatically in the background.

Go to Settings in the Itch.io launcher and check "Automatically install and update games".

Important for Mac users:

If you're playing on a Mac, you might see a strange window when launching the game, with a message stating that the app is from an unverified developer. Don't panic! This is simply because the game isn't signed by Apple (a small technical detail), but it doesn't mean it's dangerous.

To resolve this issue, here's what you need to do:

Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy.

Under the General tab, you'll see a message stating that the app has been blocked. Click Open Anyway.

Once you've done this, the game will launch normally in the future.
